Re: HAD Modded Princeton
Interesting. Non-overdrive and high powered. Dumbleland precursor? The two big shifts in topology in a Dumbleland add on circuit blocks (filters/recovery and post-PI drivers) and just up the output complement.
Very, very interesting.

100 watt Princeton!
Priceless, well not really.

Re: HAD Modded Princeton
I had a conversation with HAD once and he had said that he was doing the modified Princeton way before Randall Smith. In comparison to Smith's early modified Princetons I wonder if it's the chicken or the egg.

Re: HAD Modded Princeton
This amp is similar to that of a Dumble ''Small Special''.

Re: HAD Modded Princeton
"Small Special" is a new one to me. Searched here and found some examples. For the sake of clarifying terminology, is "Small Special" an official model or is it just a small version of a "Special"? I'm speculating that a Special is an overdrive-less ODS?boldaslove6789 wrote:This amp is similar to that of a Dumble ''Small Special''.
Re: HAD Modded Princeton
It is a model called the Small Special.

Re: HAD Modded Princeton
Is there any way to confirm the pot values, or is it just a guess based on a 2nd gen ods?
Thanks!
Thanks!
