Interesting use of reed relays.
Those are real space savers.

Phasing out the reeds... they are ok in some spots but they are kind of a pita too.

I hope Shad no one else minds I want to add this Quinn TKT 183 clip to this thread. I am still totally excited about the job Shad did on the 183. I do not miss the Dumble at all. I have a new PRS semi hollow custom 22 that gives me the tone I have always been looking for into the Quinn. A perfect match for me. (The bottom black guitar)

And here is the TKT with the Blue PRS. that one has a solid Indian Rosewood neck.

And an out of tune Spooky Quinn 183 take inspired by a take i heard Scott lerner do.

Thanks for checking it out. I had a 50th Gibson CS anniversary 335, and now I have 347 which is up for sale. Both sound great through Dumble style amps, but I like the PRSs CU22 semi hollow with trems even more. I think the 25" scale length is just "it" for me. The Gibson Johnny Smith archtops are what I always end up coming back to as well, and they have the 25" scale length too.
VERY GOOD VERY GOOD!

Why are they a pain? Why did you use them originally?
