Tony, I don't know if #0102 has originally been built with a low plate classic or a high plate classic circuit. But I've no doubts that #0102 still had the original "classic" specs (classic tone stack, deep switch etc.) at this point in time (1986).

Cheers,

Max
Thanks for that!!..I will need to go back and listen to the Talk to Your daughter recordings and perhaps form an opinion!!

No, an IC in a socket, not stacked IC's, and I don't use a Belton circuit (they are pretty poor imho). The Belton is not much more than the 2399 analogue delay chip used as a reverb. Never could make one sound decent, even with the benefit of a tube wraparound...

Beyond all the "Vertex Modified" stuff, I'm interested in that Holy Grail reverb pedal. Had a hell of a time finding the right reverb pedal and I'm not all that happy with my Hardwire Reverb.

Some pretty serious mods to that Boss volume pedal... That Lovepedal COT 50 looks interesting... heard a Dumkudo from another forum member and wasn't all that impressed. I still really like my Abunai 2 for situations like that....
