Seems like a great price if it comes with both of the cabinets!

Nice!
Looking at the back of the amp, 2 x pre amp valves, 1 x P.I and 1 x Driver?

Max, do you think this Odyssey would have the same topology as having the 12AU7 P.I and 12BH7 driver?
Maybe there's an Odyssey Guitar

If there was some gut shots I might put a bid on

After a half hour conversation with the owner, he is standing pretty firm on no gut shots.

Aaron, as you know, the Odyssey power amps are named "Odyssey Concert". I knew of a rumor of this "Odyssey Bass" #001 prototype, but I don't know more details concerning this prototype than those visible on these pictures. Up to now I didn't hear of even a rumor of a Dumble amp named "Odyssey Guitar" - but this is Dumbleland - so who knows... As I posted in another thread: Lots of fun ahead! :D

Cheers,

Max

More photos for the catalog, even if they're not guts..

He sure has nice handwriting!!!!

Zero feedback, new eBay account, and high price item will be a deterent to most bidders in the market. He does list his phone number; it maybe one of those off-ebay/in-person transaction.

Hi Max,

Do you think all the Odyessy "models" are sequentially numbered?
Or each "model" (Concert, Bass, Special) starting from 001
So that would mean:-

001 - Bass Prototype
002 - ???
003 - Concert
004 - ???
005 - ???
006 - Special
007 - ???
008 - ???
009 - Concert

Or if Rob Madden's amp is 006, would that mean there is 5 (or more) other Odyessy Special amps out there.

Thanks,
Aaron

Probably - at least as long as no "Odyssey" amps with identical serial numbers surface. But IMO that's not to say that they have been built sequentially (#002 after #001 etc).

Cheers,

Max
