One more thing there was letter of authenticity with the cabinet.
I was emailed that and it looked real to me.
But im just a fool and gullible and not very knowledgable about these things.

Laugh all you want but whats funny about thieves ?
what is funny about someone wanting to buy something and getting burned on it ?

Im going to laugh my ass off in court.
if I won one dollar and shut these guys down for ever
from making a transistor radio im going to laugh my ass off.

You dont steal and get away with it over and over no matter how many you have to defend you.

I urge you all to come to court in Texas and defend these thieves.

Stand up for them in front of a Judge in Texas and tell him how gullible you think I am

laugh while your telling the jury that too please about how funny this is and how sidesplitting it is to watch others get ripped off while you share the information around.

At others expenses I might add.

I see some legal examples here..
They think this is funny..

Im inviting you guys laughing to court come on down and laugh like this in front of a Texas judge.

If you got the balls that is.

I know you dont.

You hide and laugh now and see how funny this is within the month.

I dont care how much money it costs to put these guys out of business for good.

I gave them ample chances to send my information and cease and desist instead they are bragging about #5 and offering it for sale.

Thats funny considering neither of them had that information before they came into my home.
oops

That should be pretty funny right in court huh ?
Trust me im filing this you can count on that.

Because you all think this is funny and dont believe I will file.

For that reason alone im going to file.

Thats pretty funny right ?

Now you could wipe all this information off in a hurry but my attorney already screen capped it .

Now thats funny...

Is this an amp building forum or have I woken up in the middle of a nightmare?

I was wondering the same thing. And I certainly don't mean any disrespect to qtone by saying this: I don't understand why someone like qtone, who isn't building amps, would be hanging out here to begin with.

Certainly, he has no trouble buying a hand-made Dumble clone, as is evidenced by this thread:

http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... highlight=

But then he comes in here and screams at people who are 'stealing secrets'. Weren't secrets stolen in order for Greg D to build qtone's DUmble clone?

I would argue that if secrets were stolen, they weren't stolen from Dumble. Dumble's circuits are no different than the topologies Leo Fender pioneered in the 50's. So if any stealing is going on here, it's from Leo.

I don't get it...

And at the risk of fanning the flames yet higher, I will add this: If you're keeping secrets in your house, by all means keep your damn doors locked and don't let anyone in! This is an unfortunate, yet simple truth of living in the 21st century. Okay, I am going to shut up now.

If this is a dream, then maybe qtone will give us a gut shot of the Phoenix that Greg didn't want to reveal.

It's what we do here, show our guts....

Amen. I am so sick of reading rants by people like qtone. I feel that if you do not have anything to offer constructively on amp building, you have no business being a member of this board. Hopefully the admins will perform some necessary pruning of the member list.

I would urge everyone to mellow a little and not be so hard core. I know I can get a little hard core at times and I'm not the only one. We need to check ourselves at times. I don't think the mods need to take any action regarding constructive offerings regarding amp building. There are quite a few members that could be pruned if that was taken to the limit. If you don't like rants or you don't appreciate the comments of particular members, then don't read their posts.

I will side with qtone on this one. I recall when a hand shake was a deal those days are long gone.
I'm not going to add fuel to the fire. Very thank full from the information I have gathered from
TAG. May be old school I just go back to the RCA Designers Handbook. All the SSS information is
in that book if you can read between the lines.

Have a Great Day.................... :D

Well thats all well and good but i am told that the "rat" he is now referring to is not Greg Clark and since you haven't heard both sides of the story you can't really take a side.

Qtone's posts are angry rants against other people and have no business here.
If he does have any legal recourse he should persue it in the courts. Airing it here is just him venting his anger and i for one am tired of it.

AND If he did have a lawyer on this the first thing he would say is stop posting this on a public forum.

And this thread is a about an ebay auction that the so-called "rat" has nothing to do with. Why is he taking shots here?

So the seller still has items for sale. The Martin guitar must have had bids cancelled, the high bid is much lower than it was yesterday.

I keep getting a weird cross-site scripting security notice in IE on the Dumble cabinet. I looked at the source and didn't see anything malicious, but strange error.

This is a pretty clever and targeted eBay scam to say the least. Not your typical 1 day auction, 1000 items, compromise, script and hack...

qtone wrote:I got into the auction late did not recognize the cab or pics I did not see the cab for 8200 It was gone pretty fast so no I did not think it was a scam
just thought it was a no reserve auction.

Someone asked who bought this I did and as far as airing out anything
I was ripped off by a MOD here and one would think there would be some compassion for that but instead you shoot the messenger.

I am filling law suits..I was taken for a lot of money from a Moderator that worked here.

I was taken for a ride by several members here and the truth does not sit well.

I see no other choice but to file.

Because the information taken from my computers from my house
belongs to me not this forum.

That is quite serious and its conspiring to steal for profit.

Sorry the facts and truth bug you guys so much.

Now the attitude I get is I deserved to be robbed here..

That is troublesome considering I bet any one of you would be filing if your home was robbed on purpose with every bit of forethought and malice.

Instead you shoot the messenger.

Bye the way the Dumble from Nashville is not a jcm800

I know because its sitting here I bought it and the owner was lied too by someone here also and the pictures were posted here after the owner was promised they would not be posted anywhere out of Respect for the previous owner and Dumble.

So out of respect those pictures were posted here right away because
the person who asked for them lied to the seller.

No respect for anyones property no respect for the truth
No respect for the law

Just take what ever you can steal right ?

I mean telling someone a bold faced lie to get information then use it for your own profit is a respectable and upstanding thing to do right ?

WRONG...

THEFT IS THEFT ANY WAY YOU SLICE IT ITS STILL THEFT.

Its one thing to offer pictures or information about your amp willingly
but its another thing when someone steals the information without your permission.

I know this might be hard to see being blurred by all these schematics and pictures floating around.

I was in contact with the seller the entire time and he raised hell when he found out the private pics he sent out were being posted for all to see here.

Someone else told him that I explained I was a member here and read to learn and see what is for sale currently.

I buy things instead of steal them though I dont need to steal anything and never have.

Is there no morals or ethics anymore ? I dont see any here.
Look at the responses I get take your laundry elsewhere
go ahead and file or dont..

Wow ok Someone asked what happened to the cab was it a fake
yes I got into an auction late in the day asked one question got pics right away and I bid in an auction.

I should have looked here first to know if I was being ripped off or not.
Oh thats right I got ripped off here across the boards.
And I seem bitter about that so I should just go FO now ?

Yea you got reamed here so just go on now we hate you for telling us the truth about things..

Its one thing to ask permission to look at something or photograph it
its one thing to offer something and its entirely another to steal from someone and conspire to do so with others help with malice and forethought well ahead of time .

Thats not an accident it was a setup and done on purpose.

Im sorry you guys hate me because it was several members here that have been caught doing it not once but now several times with no regard for the law or persons personal property.

NO REGARD for private sales no regard for personal property inside someones house no regard for stolen information off someones computer.

You just dont want to hear it but hand over your schematics and knowledge and please leave.

File your suit and get out of here..

Wow really honestly ?

The person who posted pics of the bassman here from nashville lied to the seller he promised he would not share the pics anywhere and came right here and posted the pics.

The seller knows it the buyer surely knows it how ?

Because im a member here and once again someone has lied to gain information and posted it up here with no regard for anyones private business.

I bought the Dumbleman Bassman and I respected the mans wishes
and did not share pics of the inside of the amp because that information should go back to the original owner first dont you guys think ?

Or screw him too at all costs ??
Yea screw that guy and his feelings or his sentimental reasons for keeping track of the amp.

Mr Livesey removed the bassman from his archives he informed me the pics were up here and he got them from this website.

Thats true because while I was bidding on the amp iggy here posted the pics he promised he would not share with anybody under false pretenses to buy the amp.

again here I just point out the truth and facts and you guys throw stones at me as if im the bad guy here.

Wow again..

It simple really you can be honest about things and just ask and if the answer is no for a good reason you can accept that but when you decide no thats not what I want to hear im going to steal it anyway and use it for profit there is something wrong with that.

Its stealing and its morally and ethically wrong.
Many share things here which is fine if owners of real amps want to share
thats fine...

I being the buyer respected the sellers wishes I did not take gut shots and post them here because the information was to go to Jamie.

It was his amp to begin with built for him.
That is exactly what is going to happen.

I am a man of my word I dont steal and I dont come into someones home and take what ever the hell I want.

Call me anything but you cant call me a thief and you cant call me unethical because I did what I promised the seller id do.

I dont need to lie or steal to obtain anything and this robin hood mentality is going to cost alot..

In an anti trust law suit the burden is on the ones accused not the one who was taken to the cleaners..

When several conspire to keep you from doing business thats a serious crime.

They make harsh examples of vermin that do that to other people.
Its frowned upon under the eyes of the law.

Hate me thats fine rationalize it away how ever you like in your mind
but how ever you slice it its against the law .

You cant come into someones home and steal from them and go start making an item for profit that was personal private information.

Many many laws broken right here.. first the mod coming to my home living here for 5 months robbing me blind

Then the add from ebay where its ok to post private pictures cause
screw that seller right and screw that buyer they have no rights to anything such as information pertaining to the sale.

Just rob from whom ever and run here to share it cause no one will say wait a second fella you stole that information and acquired it under illegal circumstances.

Consider me filing and consider the facts and how they will look to people that will hear them.

Ask yourself if you honestly believe that a Judge or Jury of 12 would see things in an ethical perspective or will they side with the unethical ones who steal to get information at any cost ?

You guys are smart I bet you know how they will rule.

Im pretty certain none of you will show up to defend these Rats in court will you ?

I bet the retainer fee im dropping that these others caught with their heads in the trap here wont show either.

Now considering they are making 3500-6500 per amplifier
they surely have the money to show up to answer to these facts .

Id say they are finished building phoney amps for people if the Judge or Jury sees the facts and truth here.

Now one would think someone is SMART enough to turn over any information they stole and cease and desist building any amps that resemble what they stole.

But some people are just gullible right ?

Im going to use those words to the Jury here or my attorney is
I think that will piss them off into ruling for me.

Gullible huh ?

Ok
So you feel that you have been scammed by several people here, including a moderator. You say you have gotten no compassion from anyone here, and we "shot the messenger". And yet you keep coming back? Why? What are you gaining by coming to this forum?

You know what they say about how good it feels when you stop banging your head against the wall?
