I see lots of posts about the previous owners of #OO4. This was my amp for many years. I bought it from a friend of Alexander's named Jeff Heinrick. I worked with Jeff here in Santa Cruz California. I have photos of the amp from when I had to sell if. I sold if back in 1994 or 1995 to a guy in Germany after someone broke into my house and cleaned me out. They walked right by the Dumble and stole the Fender the Musicman and a bunch of other things. I sold the Dumble to replace what was taken from me by the thieves. It is nice to see photos of the amp again. Who owns it today?
Is the amp back in the USA again? I know it sold from Maverick Music a couple years ago.

Keith

Thanks for joining in on the discussion and giving us some background on your old amp..First sorry to hear about the robbery,at least they left the Dumble.. :D
2nd There is very little that is known about the first generation amps..other than the schematic marcos posted earlier in this thread, however there seems to be some confusion over some of the circuits he used in your earlier #004,these include sections of the overdrive circuit..If you would be so kind as to post some pictures or any other info you might have of the inside of your old #004 so we might clear up some of the confusion surrounding this amp... We here at the garage would be very grateful..This would also help to complete our layouts (posted in the files section)..I could then post a completed layout of a 1'st generation Dumble ODS..

thanks again and hope you can help us out!!..

So could it be safe to say that the clips Max posted a year ago or so were of this amp?
004 was owned by both Charley and Harry..AFAIK

It would also appear that if Lindley's amp had a starve switch he liked it and used it.. both circled in the up position

Another pic of the ODS 004 I came across
