Guilty as charged! My 2nd amp, built it in 1999 and it was originally an HRM (high plate Skyliner). Didn't like it -- never liked the HRMs, with the exception of Blues Masters -- so I converted it to a high plate classic before I sold it. TC has worked his magic on it and, although I don't know what the mods are, it sounds really good to me in Sam's hands.
Here are a two pictures of the original build.
Cheers,
Gil

It really only has a few small tweaks I made in a few spots in there and also I changed it to a 240V Powertrannie that all,
but then its all in the ears of the tweaker not the schematics as some seems to think.
The Finish guy owner insisted on wanting my signature on there instead of the "Overdrive special" fake logo that was on there originally ,
so i ended up doing a "Cat" and I made clear it was a mod job

You're welcome. Looking at these old pictures, in the grand scheme of things they do not seem that different from the last amp I built still using all home-made circuit boards (what a pain that used to be!) which is shown below. Subsequent amps would look prettier, but this one is still my favorite sounding one.

Who supplied the 1st chassis, Gil - if thats not too rude to ask.
A couple of friends and I put our heads together and came up with the layout. We had a metal shop do the chassis for us and we then had them silkscreened. Price ended up being under $100 per chassis, if I recall correctly, back in 1999.
