Or, if your relays have 12V coils, forget the doubler and just use the 12V transformer secondary into a bridge rectifier and bulk capacitor before the 12V regulator.

2. COMPLETED: Install relay supply board, route wires along the back of the chassis- these are the longest runs of wire in the amp. Install and wire footswitch jack, manual/pedal switches, also wire up the voltage regulator and pilot lamp on the "Lamp end".
Whomever suggested the standoff for the 7812 - THANKS. That worked out perfectly here.
Supplying pictures for other newbies like me who might want to see more details.
Next Step
3 Install Bias supply/ rectifier board, and bias pot. Route wires along the relay switch leads, bind together with zip ties, leaving an area unbound to attach the output of the bias pot to the preamp board later.

Re: New Build: Ceriatone Replica OTS 50W
the only issue with using the standoff is you wont get the same heat dissipation as you would if the whole of the regulator heatsink is against the aluminium chassis.
I've always managed to bend the legs so I didn't need a standoff.

You can also bend the "foot" of the 3-terminal strip so it sits lower to the chassis. Then you won't need a standoff for the voltage regulator. (Sry--backseat driving after the fact!)

I do the same thing so the terminal strip sits on the floor of the chassis, in addition to slightly bending the legs up.

OK. I will see if I can bend the terminal strip and get the 7812 to sit on the chassis.
Forgot to post the picture of the footswitch, switches wiring.
Couple of questions:
1. Does the wiring look correct? I think I may need to take the bottom tab of the jack to ground. Ceriatone diagram is not clear. Can someone confirm?
2. Looks like there are capacitors on the Ceriatone diagram for the switches but it is very difficult to see the value. Can someone tell me the values needed?
Thanks

I think they're 0.1uf but I've never bothered with them on my builds.

1. There is no need to ground the shield of the DIN jack.

But you do need a ground return. The c-tone layout suggests grounding to the chassis through the DIN jack, but IMO it would be better to run a ground lead back to the relay power supply. The arc suppression caps are indeed 0.1u, and I would recommend adding them.
Re: New Build: Ceriatone Replica OTS 50W
Do you know what voltage rating for the caps?
So run a ground wire from bottom pin to ground tab at relay power?
Thanks

Like this. 50V is a common rating for caps and that should be fine.

Re: New Build: Ceriatone Replica OTS 50W
I have some .15u Polyfilm 100V. Would that work?

Re: New Build: Ceriatone Replica OTS 50W
Sure 0.15u @100V will be fine.
