Choke is installed and sounds nice!
On the 124 layout - does the PAB only work if the mid boost is engaged? I wired mine up the same way as that and that seems to be what I’m experiencing.

No...They both work independent from each other, although, both functions will boost mids they just do it in different ways..One with a larger treble cap (mid boost) and the other by breaking the connection from the output of the bass pot (input of the treble pot) canceling bass (giving the illusion of more mids) also lifting the load from the tone stack boosting signal (PAB)

So I am at the point of wiring the Rock Jazz switch to the delay and im a bit stuck. In the image below (full layout in my initial post) - where am I supposed to wire the rock jazz switch to the relay? Left side of the relay shown is PAB. Do I somehow need to gain access to the other side of the relay?

Re: Adding Rock/Jazz and Mid Boost to Brown Note D'lite
Another question I thought was going to be simple.I swapped the pilot light with a fender style (this one https://www.amplifiedparts.com/products ... relampable). I hooked it up the same way that the d lite layout shows… BUT it keeps blowing bulbs. I have 120v bulbs, so I’m not sure why.

I don't get the question? The D-lite doesn't have a R/J switch. It's permanently wired for Rock..The 2 relays in your picture are for PAB and channel switching..If you want to do a R/J switch with PAB pull a layout from the files section on something like 124 or low plate classic and simply copy the layout.peckjed wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 6:35 pm So I am at the point of wiring the Rock Jazz switch to the delay and im a bit stuck. I figured out my pilot light issue - I’m using the heaters now instead of the 120v wires.
As far as the relay goes, I’ll admit I didn’t know how they functioned. I did some reading last night and it now makes sense WHY the PAB needs to be hooked up to the rock jazz and how. That said… I think I need a relay such as the Hofman amps one that will give me access to all of the legs of the relay easily. That’s the issue that I couldn’t wrap my head around yesterday. I don’t see an easy way to mod the existing PAB relay board.

Re: Adding Rock/Jazz and Mid Boost to Brown Note D'lite
Just an update - I figured out how to make the rock jazz switch work with my current relay. I have the switch wired like the Bluesmaster in the files section, but in order to get around having to gain access to the other half of my relay (since there are no solder lugs on the board) I ran the PAB relay wires to the rock jazz switch before running them to the bass and treble lugs. I'll post some pictures later today!
