Low Plate Classic Upgraded

Hello all!
Here is my personal low plate classic that was just recently upgraded. The amp was lost in the middle of a divorce and was stored in what looked to be an unconditioned barn :roll: . The upgrade consisted of
`1. RGU/59 Tandy coax
2. Draloric 70's (west Germany) w/ a few Q-lines resistors (0411's)
3. Sprague X5F treble caps
4. FET board (still working on it)
6. Replace power tube sockets (Beldon)
7.Phier 10k/100k trimmers
8. 100k Dale RN-65C 79 Metal film plates
9. Paxtron .047 blue drop mid cap
10. STR 387 Sylvania's dual getter 6L6 big bottles
11. Switchable LNFB V1B

The amp turned out wonderful!. Works well with singles and Humbuckers and takes off effortlessly, this is a great amp for those interested in taking it on.
Special thanks to those here who helped me out with the upgrade. :)

Looks beautiful Tony. Congrats!
Low plates are always my favorite sound as well.
I really like those large green resistors for the cathodes, I have never seen those for sale before.

I picked those up a few years back when I actually 1st built the amp. I had no idea they were that big? (who checks the dimensions of a resistor) I was simply looking for a molded RN75 for the cathodes. You can still find them occasionally pop up on ebay, just check the dimensions first :lol:

For me I prefer the low plates on Single coils for the clean channel better!. The challenge for me was to try and push and clear up the mids in OD with the classic style stack ( with D-lator). So component choice became for me paramount and the main reason for the upgrade.

Transformers are Fender Twin 70's (Export)
Fender Twin choke
Yamaha T-100 (Soldano) OPT 4-8-16 ohm taps
All 3 are seasoned
