That's so unbelievably cool. I see there are F&T's in there, nice to know he didn't mind them!

Looks like a Marshall 18W 1974 circuit. Sweet amp!

Would Dumble have converted a Marshall Popular to an 18 watt? Did he ever sign amps? IDK.
That's why I posted it. The cabinet is interesting also. I'll post pics.

That's really interesting. I don't know enough to have much of an opinion other than, I think it's neat! Thanks for sharing.

Very cool, thanks for sharing! It would be great if you could post a picture of the tube socket wiring.

Interesting to note that the Normal channel coupling cap was increased to 0.022uF from the stock 0.0047uF and the cathode bypass to 250uF from the stock 50uF (kind of like the Normal channel of a Plexi). Tone control on the first stage, then second stage with second order output to its Volume and Tone controls. Standard Marshall 18W PI with added Cut control. 47p added across the PI plates. Looks like the EZ81 was removed and replaced with a solid state rectifier and 300R screen resistor. All tubes moved down one position and the first socket covered. Polypropylene cap (IC MPW) added on the PI non-inverting side.

I would agree as the layout for the SS rectifier is the same as the Popular.

There are Dumble amps out there with his signature and handwriting on them. One of my Princetons that he built has his name on it. Very cool amp you have there!

The problem is, all of the components used are 2000's era. So, unless there was time travel involved....
I also have my doubts about the originality of the cabinet itself.

You could try contacting the dudes at Dumble.com/preservation society. They have a ledger but it isn't complete (missing stuff from early on and in the more recent era)..... You can try though. This amp could have had more than one tech and that could explain the age/parts discrepency.
