Keep the 2x 100R faux CT or the actual CT, just connect it to the elevated DC voltage instead of grounding it.

There´s no Need for Balancing Heaters if using PT with Center Tap !!! it is already balanced!

Some people believe that even if you have a center tap on the heater winding, a better balance can be achieved with two 100-ohm resistors, or even a pot to adjust the balance. You should use either the actual CT or the resistor CT, never both.

Than better use a wirewound Pot,called Humdinger to balance and eliminate Hum........
