Next amp questions,..

Post by larsmuller »

Winter is coming....so time for a new project.... I build a dlite with a few mods and now I want to go all the way and build a dclone.

I want to buy the ODS chassis from Natchanis from Thailand. There's also a chassis for sale on the bay. (check the link)

http://cgi.ebay.de/Dumble-OverdriveAmp- ... .m63.l1177

I think I like the chassis by Natchanis better, but what do you think...

Next question is for wich ODS I should go.... I think it has to be NonHRM. For me the grailtone is on the RF Handful of Blues album....(Rugged Road for example) Any idea what kind of amp he playing there? High plates, low plates, 80's, 90's...is it like #124 or may it be HRM???

Any help,...plzzz

I think you'll find that the ebay chassis is made by Natchanis from Thailand. A friend ordered one and recieved the exact same one as in those ebay photos ( including fishpaper boards). The aluminum 80s style chassis on Natchanis site looks better quality.

It's not Natchanis selling it on ebay, it's an ebay seller reselling a Natchanis chassis. Hope that makes sense. I don't think Natchanis sells them on ebay any longer, too much heat from grumble himself.
