It looks more like a cheese screw head, and there isn't a photo of the other side of the amp to confirm it.

The one gut shot of it on the Brown note forum does look very impressive! 8)

It looks like my kind of amp! :D

What is the difference in clean and overdrive sounds when a standard d'lite circuit is compared to a Blue monkey circuit?

I just took possession of the Blue Monkey Norm is speaking about. I have about 2 hours on it so far and I must say this thing is awesome. I have many Dumble type amps and a couple Dumbles and this creation fits right in with the good stuff. Well done Moss.

Without throwing out a bunch of cliches, that's a difficult question to answer. To me, the BM is more open and aggressive than a non-HRM, but it really depends so much on the player.

I reluctantly posted a sound clip for hipbluescat on the brownnote forum. It was just a little tone thing I did for Tomo on TGP and is full of clams, but I do think it shows a pretty broad range of tones from the BM.

If Chuck D'Aloia was at the helm, you'd certainly get a completely different impression of the amp.

Thanks, guys! :D
Didn't mean to derail this thread, but it really is hard to describe the tone of an amp that responds so differently to different players, different guitars, speakers, etc.

Great clip reminds me of the Joni Mitchell version with Jaco. I like ht sound of that amp!
