I can certainly see HAD pursuing any purveyors of fake Dumble amps, as I would for any business owner doing the same. What is his production capacity in a year..?
What is the average price?.. 5000$ (?)

- What strikes me is that his production must be a true hobby...

I would guess he makes alot servicing amps for some of the "big names". He could very well be involved in other electronic ventures besides amps as well. I doubt very few, if any, know for sure.
