If you use some kind of shielding inside the top of the cabinet you need to clean off the top edges of the chassis from any oxidation so you get a good electrical connection with the shield when you tighten down the chassis.You need to do this just before you install the chassis..Ben probably witnessed his amp being put in the cabinet. :D

what could he be measuring from the empty chassis from one side to another?
the "scrapping the whole build" after remeasuring at the end part had me confused though...
he's not BS'ing...

I think it has to be measuring across the ground points after cleaning the contact areas. Anodizing, BTW, is something that can be done at home.

Of course Dumble is BS'ing -- now you heard first hand what a BS-er Dumble is
Why? Myths create dollars, especially in the 70s -80s -90s
In the internet era we should look beyond that.
