Bought two of these
You have to cut off one of the stop lugs I think. Is that right?
Re: Electroswitch Wiring Diagram
Just so everyone here knows..I've had several failures with those Marshall Style replacement black switches as well.. and they are not cheap either.. Maybe all right on a 50 but I don't use them in 100w anymore..Not that anyone here uses them on the D-Style builds..Thought I'd mention anyway

BTW, Mouser has the Electroswitch @ $44.01. If anyone is interested, RS UK has them @ £14.96 = $25. I don't know if they ship to the US, but us euro guys have something to celebrate for a change.
PS. Let me know if they don't ship to the US and I'll see if I can help you out!

That's correct, it then becomes a three position rotary switch. You have to cut off one of the stop lugs I think. Is that right?

What do you guys recommend for a 100W build, something that is not over $40 USD preferably?

Re: Electroswitch Wiring Diagram
I bought two from Newark for CDN$27.58 each. With UPS air shipment and taxes, CDN$ 37.50 or so each. So Newark's US$ price should be about $26 at current exchange rate. Better than Mouser.
WOW! Allied has the best price by a long way. Wish I'd looked there first.

I am very happy with the impedance switch from Hoffman.
High quality and massive contacts.

Hoffman's is $9.50. The nice thing about ordering from Doug is that he uses flat rate USPS shipping.
If it all can fit in a small box the shipping is only $6.95

He is very fast on getting the product in the mail.
He is on the east coast and I usually get my stuff in three days, on the left coast.

NKK won't sell wholesale and refers you to vendors, and I can verify that you won't get that puppy cheaper than CE dist @ $6.95 It can be used anywhere with no hesitation. That triple wired goofball is wasted wire, time, and $.
Re: Electroswitch Wiring Diagram
So about these switches.
My D'Lite came with a wafer switch sort of like that Electroswitch but it was suggested to me to use the one I posted earlier.
I understand the redundancy thing, that is good insurance.
Now, what I don't know is are these what is called a make before break switch and why is that beneficial because I don't understand why anybody would switch one of these things with the amp hot.
Or are they properly called shorting and non-shorting switches?
