Where did Brandon go? Funkaliciousgroove?

Post by topbrent »

He hasn't posted since January 2010.

Does he visit here anymore or was there something I missed?

My thoughts are that he got to the point where he was giving way more than he was receiving.

Facing the facts, how many builders here get REAL Dumble amps in house??? We were blessed to get what we did! I doubt elmwood, Mad professor, Mystique, TwinkleLand would have given any of us the time of day!

I tried to reach Brandon via e-mail because I want to order one of his Bludotones. I sent two mails during the last weeks - but he didn´t answer. Maybe he is too busy for a new customer...???

Must be honing his "reclusive" chops. It's a requisite step along the road to myth and legend...

Hey now,...lets not let this thread start to detour into a "how can we all tick Brandon off further" exercise.

I started this thread as a curiosity. I always looked forward to Brandon's posts, as he always had a lot of good information and real world experience to share.

It's summer...vacation? Everyone needs one from time to time. And then he could be really busy, too, I know I am.

It's also possible he has nothing new to contribute that a "search" couldn't find. I had clients discussing speakers with Brandon, and they contacted me just a few weeks ago, though, so he's still around.

All in good fun. I don't know Brandon personally, but I recall the picture of him next to an amp striking a HAD pose... seems like he has a sense of humor in this regard.

I was wondering the same thing! Hope he's not pissed at us. Brandon has certainly been a big help to me, and I always looked forward to his posts.
Come back to us Brandon!

I don’t blame Brandon. I know what it takes to get a business off the ground 16 hour days 7 days a week
For the first five years. I suspect after Brandon’s post of the dumbleator (thank you Brandon) and nic at ceritone started knocking them off week’s later that would do it for me. I recall the 300-500 phone calls
And 200-300 walk-ins per day. My doctor made me retire and when my home phone started ringing off the hook it pissed me off. Fame is double edged good and bad. I’m sure that if you want to order product from Brandon he will get back with you as time allows.

Well us little people still appreaciate all he and others like you Scott have shared over the years.
I know I would have thrown my amp off of a cliff long ago without you guys.
It's actually sounding pretty good to me, but I don't have much to compare it to.
