It is my understanding that the owner of Odyssey Club in the US commissioned a powerful power amp and that is how this model started. The Odyssey usually have the 1/4” jack but also the RCA input to be used with several different sources

I think that would be the one in LA that burned? The Winterland is named after the venue in San Francisco where the Last Waltz was filmed, I assume.

The owner of the Odyssey was Eddie Nash(Wonderland Murders). The club was an all ages disco that did burn down under rather shady circumstances.

These are my favourite power amps. Classic tonestack with reverb into this does it for me.

AFAIR the usual tube complement of an original Odyssey is V1 = 12AU7; V2 =12BH7 ; V3 - V6 6L6GC. E. g.: http://www.amparchives.com/folder/2533/ But - for whatever reason - these pictures of #015 probably show a (misplaced?) 12BH7 in the V1 socket.
