Marshall Major-ish SSS/Mayer Sig Modification Ideas?
I had been using a 3 amp setup with an sss, a super reverb and a Two Rock CLRS. I thought maybe I can add some Marshall Major flavour(Marshall Cleans) to the mix but I don't have more room for amps. I'm using bright switch, mid boost and deep all on to estimate that on Two Rock but I'd love to get some more scientific explanation and maybe get closer to Major Cleans/Edge of breakup tones

Bump? A tonestack change to bluesmaster maybe? Different voltage divider value?(I’m using gain structre mod of Two Rock CLRS)

Kinda like asking how to make a Porsche into a Ford pickup truck. the differences between these circuits aren't small. ultra linear taps, cathodyne phase inverter, later stage tone stack, negative feedback inserted before tone stack; probably why no one has responded.
significant modifications would be necessary to approximate these differences. not impossible, but it would be an overhaul of an amp that would kill its resale value if its indeed a genuine two rock.
