Hi all,my PI plate voltages in my Dlite are a bit low.Without tube they are 389 Volts but with tube they are 243 Volts.Tried several tubes with no difference.
Checked all the usual things like wiring and components but am unable to find where this is comming from.
PT is 300-0-300@0.2A.Diode rectified.
The reason i was checking voltages in the first place was that i am getting more distortion that i used to and the distortion is not as nice as it used to be.All the other voltages are o.k.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: low PI voltages
Also which PI.
The bluesmaster (marshall style) plates typically run about 255 to 260 with a supply of 420V.
Fender style PI 820/24K will run close to 300V with a 420V supply.
There may not be anything wrong.

Re: low PI voltages
Thanks Gary,i wasn`t aware of that.
It is indeed the Bluesmaster PI.
The amp is o.k.It is the speaker that is causing the distortion.Played through a different one yesterdayevening and only the usual heavenly sounds filled the room.
