50W Vintage Linear Transformer - HRM project

Post by herby660 »

Hi Guys

I have an old audio amplifier my dad gave me which is 50W similar to an old mullard 510.

It runs two EL34 Mullards, 2 12AX7s and one EF86 and has a GZ34 rectifier.

Although it is a Linear transformer, could it be used for a HRM build?

Any comments or help would be appreciated.

Regards

Richard

I suppose a linear would not be suitable as it would not distort the same

I guess it would be good for a 50W SSS
