1989 Dumble ODS video - Rare 6v6's with a 1967 Tele going thru its paces on the first video, second video with a PRS.

Kinda sounds a bit more compressed and tight and squishy. Doesn't have the "airiness" of the big 6L6s. Maybe it's just me...

I liked the tone though, dosent make me instantly think Dumble though.

I agree....but if it was in better hands....maybe Mr. Lerner, I think it would have made all the difference.

Totally different tone than a 6L6 Dumble, but very cool.

I would think that rare and Dumble are redundant.


Doesn't help that it is recorder through the video camera. Sounds like crap. Too bad, it would be nice to hear the difference the 6v6s make.

thank oyu for sharing, if the guy playing COULD play, it`d prob sound all together different. I blv the ..110....input is a tad weird to, the led is PULSATING!!!

but the way the amp grunts w/boost is intoxicating, jim@Omega
