New project question- Bandmaster reverb
What I would like to accomplish is to build a 2X10 cab to use with my Bandmaster Reverb head (which has been modified to Super Reverb specs, ie, a 2 ohm output transformer). Is there any possible way to wire either (2) 8 or (2) 16 ohm 10" speakers so that I can get an impedance match? Barring that, is there a way to put a dummy load in the cabinet so that I do get an impedance match? I have never built a dummy load so I would need at least a description of how to wire it in with the speakers. I would also be interested in speaker recommendations to achieve a Blackface Vibrolux 2X10 sound.
Re: New project question- Bandmaster reverb
The closest you'll get with those speakers is wiring two 8 ohms in parallel for 4 ohms. You could add a 4 ohm resistor dummy load in parallel with those to bring it down to 2 ohms.
Ideally, you'd want two 4 ohm speakers in parallel.

Thanks, I didn't know you could get 4 ohm speakers, I see now that Weber has them
