Univox U305R Reverb Tank

Post by jon »

I need a new reverb tank for my Univox U305R. The reverb is capacitance coupled and is marked "1.5K Driver" and "Pickup".

AES had a pretty good article on their site on how to identify tanks. Beside the impedance chart, they listed DCR values of the coils.

Regardless of who made the tank originally, you don't much choice now but Accutronics/Belton or MOD. "F" type tanks (1K5 input impedance) do still seem to be available, so unless you want to radically mod the amp, that's the only way to go.

Like the poster noted earlier http://tubesandmore.com/ has a good reference for tanks.
