Just thought i,d give you folks a peek at my new project after a few evenings work, at the moment the 12 v relay power board is in situ as well as the power transformer(thats what you call heavy metal ) i,ve started work on the power section while i wait for a face plate and a few bits to arrive.
Thanks to those who have chimed in on my previous posts and given good advice

Ok fols had a good push this week end and got it up and running prety much without incident, my first impression is the dirt channel does,nt have as much gain as i anticipated, having a check around it appears this amp is,nt really designed for it, if anyone could make a suggestion for increasing the gain i would be interested, more pics to follow in a few days

You probably just need to goose the input a bit.
Yeah, ,i've got a Lovepedal Kanji, sounds pretty impressive, i had a chance to wind it up a bit today(no nieghbours or wife) and once you crank it up a bit its got a fair bit of gain, pretty close to a jcm, just got to sort the channel switching and the Preamp lift for the clean channel.
Effects loop should be in tomorrow, just got to decide if its worth fitting a dumblator type circuit minus the bright switchs.
Quick update for those who have been kind enough to chip in with various bits of help, i played around with a gain stage in place of the cathode follower, not a good move afetr reinstating the cathode follower i changed the supply resistors from 100k to 22o wiyth the appriate cathode resistor and added some tropical 2 uf bypass caps , got a fair bit more gain and so far i,m liking it, scored a Marshall Celestion for pennys on evilbay i suspect it will compliment this circuit mre than my RCF cab which is normally paired with my D clone
