need old teisco amp schem or info
i have a teisco vt cabinet one, model c-1, for repair. it's tube compliment is: 1x12au7; 3x12ax7; 2xel34. fixed bias, choke, and two small transformers apparently for reverb. i got it with a few blown components, so don't know actual values. any ideas where to get a schem? thanks in advance.
Re: need old teisco amp schem or info
Hi there,
I recently repaired a Teisco and had great difficulty finding schematics. I couldn't find one for the model I was working on but it seems a lot of
them used similar topologies and I was able to use the schematic for the
100 Watt PA version (which I have attached) as a guide.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Paddy

Re: need old teisco amp schem or info
Teisco is very difficult if not impossible to get schematics. A friend has a rare 2-112 guitar amp that sounds magnificent, but if it breaks... good luck. Weird tubes, too. And all the wiring inside is green. Wire wound resistors. Some day when it breaks it is going to take an Einstein to figure it out with no drawings.

My old Teisco Melody amp is the same as a Beltone AP-12 amp so I found that schematic for reference, which is something you might have to do as well. Look on the Teisco amp website and see what other models match up tube and function wise.
