Having found out there aren't any Komet references, I'm wondering where to go from here.

Are the preamps similar, tonally or electrically?
I like what I've heard from Komet and TW.

If I were to try building a TW preamp, would I be hearing that lovely on the edge tone? If so, what happens tonally when I go from 4xEL84 to two? Or one? I just don't need all that power now.

I'm itching to build something, but I'm a bit short on design ability.
