Kingsley Harlot v2 schematic

Post by megatrav »

Not sure if I am in the right place for this, but I wanted to contribute to the community since you all have been helpful to me in the past.

A friend of mine traced my Harlot V2 so that he could make a clone of it.

He did change some of the specs. The original has 630V polyester caps and 1/2W resistors for everything. He also did not do the power supply, but stated that it is very similar to every other NE555 based high voltage supply.

Hope someone finds this useful!

Also, I believe this would work for making a Kingsley Page. It just wouldn't have the jfet. The Minstrel would also be similar but with treble, middle, and bass controls.

I did find some more information regarding the power supply.

The high voltage power supply is a typical "nixie" supply using NE555 to switch an IRF740 with a 100uH inductor. The raw HV coming off the power supply is 237V. Unsure of the part number, but he uses an LDO for the tube filament.
