supro1690 6W power section?
how would you reduce the power output to 6-8 watts while still running 6l6s in this amp. thanxx

It's cathode biased, so implementing VVR is not difficult. Or you could add a voltage divider on the screens.

I would put a simple 2 resistor voltage divider on the screen B+ node. Put a 22µF filter cap across the resistor that connects to ground and connect the screens to this new filter cap. If you use 10K resistors the new screen voltage will be half what it is now. That should knock the power way down. Experiment with the voltage divider to get what you want. Use power resistors.
