Yet another thread about the same thing. And an impressive amount of writing.

Why don't you continue on the previous thread? There were some useful inputs you didn't reply to.

Anyways.
How did you arrive on the need of a B+ of ~900VDC?
How does the GBA control work?
What's the purpose of the 100k from decoupling cap to ground, before the James tonestack?
Why aren't the first gain stages' cathode resistors bypassed?

Power supply is gonna burn with that FWB.

Output tubes gonna burn with zero volt bias.

Mr. Richter,

For future, related content that you choose to post, please kindly continue with one of your existing topics. Everything you have posted so far could have just fit in one thread. Then you can easily go back and make needed corrections when they are pointed out. It also makes it easier for those following your topic and participating to find it amongst the daily postings, which can sometimes add up.

Thank you,

I'am retired and I don't even have time to read all of this he posted!
When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming like the passengers in his car!

No problem, thanks for making the choice easy. We'll delete your account and these threads.

This guy reminds me of mooreamps and/or Bill Burgess

Bye bye 👋👋

And Mr. Richter won't be down for breakfast 🔥

Only if you start 5 threads about pig farming, and make sure that they all include your best recollection of the details from memory that haven't been checked in real world scenarios.

FYI I figured I'd post here, Kurtus asked that I delete his account and all posts. It's been done.

I asked xtian and he felt his posts were a landmine of bad information for users and should likely be removed to clear up any risk there. I'll delete the other threads entirely as well.

Unfortunately he's posted the same stuff, with the same misguided sense of confidence, to other forums, with people responding with "wow that's a lot of great information, thank you!"

Oh well, can't police the whole internet. Hopefully no one tries to build this as is, and instead understand why you start with a proven simple design to start learning.

At least they won't get it here.
