MEF first page changes

[R.G.]

I keep a favorites-link to MEF on my browser page, just out of hope that one day it will come alive again. So sue me, I'm a romantic.

It changed. The start page changed sometime recently from "server error" to a graphic background and "Music Electronics Forum This site doesn't use cookies". The url firebottle.com does the same graphic but subs "Firebottle.com" for MEF.

Do any of you have insight into what changed? Did the MEF domain get sold/traded? Or is there a glimmer of hope there?

There's some chatter on MEF2, but nothing definitive: https://music-electronics-forum2.com/in ... opic=362.0

I just tried the link I had for the Sunn section of the MEF (https://forum.sunnstillshines.online/) and it says

Maintenance mode

Site maintenance in progress

The pickup forum link is still showing a 404 message.

Maybe there is something going on with it though. Fingers crossed!
