Q: Where to buy valves in Boston, MA area?

Post by Sven »

Greetings,

Title says it all. I am building D-amp, and someone needs to get me, perhaps, some valves in a shop in Boston, MA area. Does anyone know about a shop there? Roslindale, MA is closer neighbourhood, but anywhere in Boston wider area is OK. Thanks.

Cambridge Music in Porter Square, Cambridge used to always have a great selection of new production tubes. I haven't been there recently. Call and ask for Fred; if they don't have what you need he can probably get it, unless you are looking for NOS tubes. They probably won't have much of that, although I once saw a rebranded Mullard 5ar4 in the case for $60. I should have bought it!
