Echosonic27 -
First, Cliff did not warn or threaten you.
Second, I am sure he was joking.
Third, there is nothing illegal about it.
Fourth, It seems to bother you that there is very little interest regarding the Echosonic amp. It is not the Holy Grail. There is a reason that there is no Echosonic Discussion section in this forum. Please take your agenda someplace where the members might actually have an interest. This forum was operating very smoothly before you joined. I am confident that it will continue that way after you leave. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Cliff, don't threaten nor warn me ever again, as that is illegal. I'm a computer security specialist, so imagine the security technology in my house. I'm also involved in the legal field, so I know what I'm saying here. Regardless, I've taken a screenshot of your posting just in case you decide to edit it.

My comment about users in this forum preferring new components vs vintage/NOS was a general statement. Clearly not :everyone: uses new parts here; anyone reading it would have the common sense to realize this. You're trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Let me know when you intend on coming to visit me. I'll have coffee on, waiting with my friends from the Law Enforcement.
Echosonic, I'm sorry I that even posted the patent info you. I'm suprised that someone of your technology and legal background doesn't host his own Echosonic website verses trolling for forum space and eyes. Hmm, maybe it wouldn't get any hits.

You are truly one piece of work. In the interest of harmony, I'm all in favor of deleting this thread and shutting the door on you.

You can screenshot that if you wish.

Oh yeah, look at the amps I build and you will lot's of NOS parts.

Yes he did; are you stupid?
vibratoking wrote: Second, I am sure he was joking.
You are assuming, and trying to cover for someone.
vibratoking wrote: Third, there is nothing illegal about it.
You're full of shit; yes a threat of 'hunting someone down' is illegal.
vibratoking wrote: Fourth, It seems to bother you that there is very little interest regarding the Echosonic amp. It is not the Holy Grail.
You're assuming again. And since there's lots of interest out in the world, I'm not bothered in the slightest. And it is the Holy Grail of Rock & Roll / Rockabilly amplification; the Standel 25L15 comes close in 2nd in my opinion. But clearly there's no interest here. Just a bunch of bored old complainers wanting to give their 5cents on a bitching forum instead of adding something constructive.

Teemuk posted the Patent # for me. So if that is you, then you have 2 accounts.... Tee Muk = Tone Merc = TM. Funny, I thought you were from Europe, not USA. LOL....I just looked at your Profile.... Who knew that you and I have something in common: Gunsmithing 8)

I'm all in favor of deleting this thread as well. Although I'm sure there are :some: nice people on this forum, it's clearly not for Fine Vintage Musical Instruments. You all claim that you don't care, and yet it seems like you all do. I've already shut the door on you.

Yeah this whole thread just keeps getting more ridiculous. Frank don't take me so seriously, I was making a silly joke. You can take a screenshot of that too, just in case I edit this post.

For somebody who claims to be a security expert and is trying to sound like an adult, you carry yourself like a child. This whole thread is filled with nothing but teenage drama and childish envy. It's leaving a bad taste in our mouths not only for you but Echosonic amps in general. You are a wart on the ass of Ray Butts' legacy as far as we can tell. Ken Fischer and Alexander Dumble also have ass warts that have come in, tried to start drama and have eventually been banned themselves. You're wasting your time and our time as this will all probably be deleted before too long.

If one of this forums regulars came in, posted some pics and a schematic and we discussed the amp as per usual then maybe there would be more interest. But with the amount of SHIT that you bring with the amp makes nobody want to give you the time of day. If you could discuss the technical aspects of the amp and its design without introducing all of the extraneous crap then maybe we would be more interested. Heck, I'm interested myself in the amp but how can we talk about the amp when you post these long rambling messages that talk about everything but what we actually care about...THE CIRCUIT!

wow. This thread kinda took a turn for the worse.
I'd like to hear what the police had to say if you called them and told them that a guy on an internet forum said he was gonna track me down and pee on my amp.

Dude, take your little amp and run along.
Nobody is interested in a antiquated little echo box.

Go troll some other forum.
Tom

Having been a police officer I can tell you I would have advised the individual to cover the amp with plastic for precaution sir.

Ahhhhhhhh. Brings back memories of the old usenet days when discussion groups had no rules or police. alt.guitar.amps was where I started way back when. Had some real characters there. Threats of murder, posting of personal addresses, spam galore, links to viruses. The Wild Wild West of the internet.
If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.

There are, here's just a few of them (and their reactions to this thread):

Structo: Kind of our greeter and goodwill ambassador, holds the record of most most posts, giver of solid advise, always kind to the new comers................pissed him off.

Tonemerc: Prolific builder, shares a ton of information, great with vintage parts, transformers and security matters, always kind to newcomers................pissed him off.

M Fowler: Also prolific and eclectic in his builds. Great problem solver, Know to follow a thread for weeks helping to debug a strangers amp, always nice to newcomers.....................pissed him off.

Cliff: Some may say, quick to mouth off, but almost always by saying what we are all thinking. Also known to apologize and move on. Amazing scavenger skills and the education to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Always supportive and generous...............pissed him off.

Your right, this isn't the place to discuss "fine vintage instruments". It is the place to understand how they work, learn how to build and to get and give the support needed to build your own. Great job making friends!
