While I would not call it lipstick, its a somewhat satisfying restoration of what was a wreck. I have 16ohms on the speakers, not a match but not too harmful.

It's pretty stangy but the bass has some issues. I'll play it for now and come back in time to address the low end.

Actually looks good! Better than the original pic in the Monkey Wards catalog.

Thanks Man. I cannot say this cab is producing great tones, I may try a 12" 8ohm speaker at some point.

Hi, would this module work well in this amp? Can I grab the 5v from the rectifier circuit? If anyone has a schematic for this addition much appreciated.

There is a thread on this module. I recommend searching for it, maybe more than one. This is in my last amp build. The amp is about 90% complete has been sitting like that for 4 or 5 years. That's how old the thread is. I'm not quite sure why it remains unfinished. It is a combination of life got in the way and I made Swiss cheese out of the part of the chassis where that module needs to mount. I need time to finish it and a reinforcing plate so I can drill some more holes! You will need to build the circuit.

You might check with Lou Rossi to see if he still has boards for it. https://www.luigiretro.com/ There is more than one version of that module. Lou's board is for the 3H.

Several people over at Hoffman's forum have successfully used this module. Go search.

I'll bet there are some members here that have done the same.

Phil, tell me show me more, can you put up some aspects of your build?
