Im looking to build a 100w P/P KT88 using a post PI CF ala SVT. I've been looking at a JTM 45/100 PT that puts 560v on the plates. Can anyone recommend any other trafos (PT/OT/Choke) that might fit this application?
Thanks!
What transformers to get 100w P/P KT88 amp?

Look at some of the Sunn/Dynaco transformers. The Sunn 200s I think was about 80 watts from a couple of KT88's.
Sunn used Dynaco iron in many of their amps. Triode Electronics and others offer replica Dynacos.

4 to 5 k 550 to 600v
you can use a 50 w fender (or better) opt and a jtm 45 /100 replacement pt
I liked a high power twin generic pt and any 100w opt mismatched up to the load range, lower anode voltage but plenty O current.

the 45/100 PT will sag to much. try a partridge/hiwatt dr103 OT

Marshall Major ouput with the UL taps tucked in.

A pair of KT88's?
For what I would imagine with that kinda power section, I'd try a dual rail PT. Upper 600's on the plates and 400 on the screens. Then at least you could try 6550's as well, which I sometimes prefer.
Music Man PT maybe?
I think AES has a Hammond OT that might work at 5K.

the gec sheet say 625/600a.... 330g2....5kLa-a fixed bias 100w
You get 70w at fender V and 4k La-a fixed
but I got to tell you a pair with 50w iron is loud enough even cathode biased, and they're nice toned too.

I use the Dynaco Mk3 replacement transformers & choke from Triodeelectronics in my Weber 6S100 (2xKT88). I get 520V at the plates, 500V at the screens using full-wave rectification (1N5408 diodes). I don't use the UL taps.
