Thanks Mark
I wanted to try the the large hole cutout with the pre amp tubes down below.
Looked interesting in that discussion what they were doing.
It gets my pre amp tubes closer to the front and kind of a point to point style up to the board.

Maybe another sub-forum called RESOURCES could be created for this. The subject line of each post could be a brief description of the part / material, i.e. Custom Sized Turret Board Material, or JMP Chassis, M150 series Capacitors, etc. Then people can post comments on where they get theirs, the perceived quality, cost, value, etc…?

I know I've had the same experience as Tone Lover in that I remember reading about a source for a particular part, then could not find the discussion with the search function.

Just a thought.

Good thinking because you have spent the time to find the resources then tell us and when we try to use them. Then we cant find were they were. Most of the time I will bookmark that discussion under my amp parts or amp building knowledge section on my computer. but I found it at work and forgot to,when I got home.\

I just ordered 12 of each sized board I use from eplastics - cost was about $250 so a little more than $5 per board

Compare that to watts prices and it's a no brainer

Thanks for the source. I bookmarked it, and will definitely be buying from them.

I apologize,

I did do a search and it wasn't that fruitful.

So yes,

www.turretboards.com

www.hoffmanamps.com

www.Mcmaster.com

are all good sources for board material.
