I went to the ultimate Hammond conversions thread and found nothing on ao39 or ao-35 power amp conversions, any suggestions

http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... light=ao35

I built a Carmen Ghia from new parts but also a Marshall Lite IIb from a Hammond AO-35 reverb chassis using the board, chassis, PT and OT.

The AO-35 is very stout and a good sounding very loud 18w amp. I've used GZ34, 5U4, 5V4 and 5Y3 rectifiers and stuck with 5Y3 to lower the voltage to safer level as well as tone wise.

12AX7 for V1 and V2 and JJEL84 power tubes.

Tubelube, how come you have so many threads open regarding the same subject and then don't participate in conversation when people post information for you?
