Which would be easier to build?

Post by ledvedder »

Hi guys, I'm new to amp building, but have done some mods on existing amps. I'm familiar with soldering technique also. I want to build one of these 18 watt plexi style amps. Which do you think would be easier? It looks like the Trinity comes with a step by step guide. The Tube-Town only comes with the layout and schematic diagrams.

I ultimately want this, https://youtu.be/eGBc4lC8zaY, which is the Tube-Town model with the attached mods.

Where are you located?
If you are in the US it might be easier to buy the Trinity.

There are a lot of internet resources to view examples and draw help/guidance from.

Isn't Tube Town in Germany?

I would think it will likely be much easier to buy the Trinity kit than order from Europe.
