Hiya.... just to be clear, the Corona Dope #10-4702 dries flexible & what is typically used for the surround on paper cones, correct? And if this isn't the correct stuff, what is?

That dope is a high voltage insulating lacquer and will dry too stiff even though it may say its flexible.
You want a latex product .
You can use very thinned out white Elmer’s glue applying a little at a time, or better yet this product.
Either way test it the stuff out on a cheap old blown 6 or 8” speaker.
