Very dry snow, easy to drive on.
News saying we could get up to 6 inches today-tonight.

It was treacherous out. Cars off the road everywhere .the main highways are closed in the hills. The back roads are nearly impassable .if wasn't for the PBR I may not have made it

You win. Schools were closed here in northern NM yesterday but I drove to work later in the morning. I had the road to myself in some spots. I took the time to stop to watch a small herd of elk (about 40) cross the road and hop a fence. Seemed quite idyllic for a moment.

My mother just called from Arkansas to tell me that they are having an ice storm there too. I remember a couple of those - just about my least favorite form of weather. Yech!

We do get down into the 20's or teens, here but usually the Summers make up for it warm and even hot weather.

Last Summer was a record breaker for dry/ hot days.
