Hi Guys its been a couple years i think since i have been on. Havent done anything with amps either but got the bug again.

So i was going to re register cause i didnt know my password but then notice the site still recognized me so i was able to log in automatically. I also need to change my email addy but it wont let because of the password. So i need to get that straightened out????

You guys are very intimidating your knowledge boggles my mind. I would like to do experimenting but i would only be dangerous at this point. Understanding component interaction is all a blur to me yet. I dont do well learning from the written word due to childhood brain injury im much visual. And it seems i like the whole picture vs snippets. so learning is real slow for me and i wont hang on to it unless i work with it.

And forgive me for anything stupid i have said in the past or will in the future cause i usually do.

Todd

I see nothing wrong with removing members who haven't logged on in say three years. Sometimes health or personal issues keep people away for some time, but if you haven't logged on in that amount of time chances are you never will again.

As far as the no-posters go, if they've logged in within a reasonable amount of time I would leave them alone. Some people don't like posting online but they can still learn from what is posted.

I too like my databases clean and optimized and see nothing wrong with pruning once in a while.

But, 74% of the members have never posted.

Why don't we move this database to a SimpleMachinesForums setup. It would be easy to implement quite a few new features. It would be great to write in a few payment options for the for sale section and add a 1% site commission to fund the servers. This could open up a whole new can of worms with advertising, but I'm willing to help if this is of any interest. It would be lovely to source the money to build a plugin for circuit building.
