This isn't anything that nice. It's got the hammer forged chrome lined barrel supposedly made the same way they make barrels for machine guns. Probably not the most accurate barrel but should handle 20,000+ rounds . I just hope the trigeer doesn't suck I know its not gonna be like my Winchester

I've got another lower I was thinking about doing a target gun with . then I thought you know what would be more fun than a target rifle.

That is the same exact rifle I have.

I can hit clay targets 200+ yards

Was pleasantly surprised with the trigger on this rifle.
Not much trigger creep before release than a lot of other military style rifles.
Maybe the Match H Bar rifle receives bit more attention in the trigger group.

I installed a custom bolt and titanium firing pin.

The lighter firing pin decreases the time it takes to fire so it adds accuracy as well.

Tom my friend is a Highway Patrol Officer and was a Marine Sniper he has the same rifle, I smiled when I told him what I have and then he pulled his out of the gun safe. :)

Very accurate indeed. I wouldn't mind going with AR in 308 long barrel for shooting either. :)

What's in theory applicable to a bolt action sniper or target rifle isn't necessary true in the AR platform. Nothing at all to be gained in the AR platform since the firing pin floats. However, since the Ti pin has less mass, in theory there might be some advantage in select fire(burst or full auto) to neglect the chance of slam fires.

In an AR SHTF rifle I would highly advise against using one at all.

I've been fooling with the 300 Whisper (30/221) aka reinvented and marketed as 300 AAC for 20 yrs. Here's a PDW style 300AAC.
