Hope he's doing well. I first knew of him over at the ReRanch forum, and he was always amazingly helpful with folks. Same holds true here. Maybe his internet is down or something...

The thing is his last post was some four months ago and he has the biggest post count on the site.

Of course there are many possible reasons he's not been around.

I went silent for about 2 years after major surgery. I didn't touch a computer for the longest time.

I also had an internet stalker while frequenting another amp board - he got my phone number and called me constantly, which was enough to scare me off that site for a time.

Other great folks, like Paul Ruby and Alex Kenis, some of the smartest amp builders ever, just got too busy or moved on to other interests.

I hope that Tom's absence isn't for health reasons, and if he just tired of the whole thing, I'd like to thank him, and wish him the best whatever he chooses to do next :)

Tom, is not the type of guy to just drop off from this forum without saying a word to anyone. Keep in mind he is a moderator, he would have resigned before just up and going dark.

I guess I'm going to have find him.

TM, about every six months Tom and I would pm about health and stuff, it is very concerning when he didn't respond the last time I pm'd him.

I'm pretty concerned too, but am holding out for positive thoughts.

Tom has always been the first one to welcome people on the forum, and always has something positive to say.

Sure wish somebody at least knew Tom's last name or phone number.
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?
