I have just stopped getting the "death by a thousand cuts" warning on Firefox so I looked on Google and TAG is back on there for all the world to find and join in with again. The cache snapshot was taken on 14 Feb so Happy Valentine to TAG
Well done to the Admin for getting things sorted out and to Phil for his hard work.
Yes, FF and Chrome both going right to the site! Thank you to all who made this happen. Give it a few days. This news will spread quickly. Looking forward to seeing some fresh air at TAG. Also, posting is running very fast.
Not working for me yet. Still getting straight in with warning active from my iPhone, though. Here's hoping I wake up tomorrow to a new and improved TAG!
HeeBGB, I think it was due to the root of the main site being readable and the logs for apache were there, and the malware search tools were seeing something specific in the access logs (which should never be publicly accessible) where a scanning companie's data was in said logs, it seemed like they'd 'injected' something into the site, so it was a false positive. I've since changed the settings to hide the base directories and only provide access the normal expected files (html, php, etc) and that may be the root of it, So the upgrade should only increase overall security.
Wow I'm even able to get through my work's web filter now too!
Well done!
Now I am thinking this site would be a good candidate for taking over as AX84.com's archive site since TAG is back off of life support. Of all the amp sites out there I think this place has a similar community feel to AX84. Food for thought...
