Karl Ratzer

I got to know Karl just a bit back in the day when he lived here in Atlanta around late 70's. He was ripping a lot of funk back then along with his straight ahead stuff.. He was kind enough to give me some direction and suggested a few things for me to study. I would hit the clubs he played every chance I had to listen to him and the slew of other great players in our town back then. Opened me up to a lot.
