Wow, well done!
Your builds / rebuilds are in addition to that?

Yes. I've built 88 amps, or at least I remembered to document that many.

Congrats! makes me regret not keeping proper records. Have you reached the point where something you built, repaired, modified, 10 years ago finds its way back to you and you have absolutely no recollection of working on it? This happened to me a year or so ago and kinda freaked me out...

Yes, def. I use hi-viz orange zip ties, and sometimes they will remind me I've been inside...

Also, fun to see my builds, notably the Black Buttes, surface at Chicago Music Exchange, Guitar Center, and others across the US.

Really? The finer medical surgeons I know readily willingly seek second opinions from their peers. And what precisely would you categorize as a "basic question" on topics discussed within this forum?

Best ..

Still asking boneheaded questions, you betcha! I arrived at TAG in 2010, asking the MOST boneheaded questions possible. I had soldered before, but my electronics knowledge was basic, and my thermionic knowledge essentially zero.

This sounds exactly like my story... So many questions. Couldn't get them posted fast enough. I'm glad to see how you stuck around long enough to help out with the next generation of boneheaded questions.

Congrats Xtian! Its amazing how fast time flys! I remember reading your posts here 10 years ago. Your answers and questions helped me a lot! Now 10 yrs later I am at 60 builds and my basement is full of equipment and parts. Never thought that would happen! This stuff is addictive. I owe it all to you and the others you made great posts and questions and answers!

I need to end this post so I can hide the pile of speakers that just arrived at the front door before the wife sees them! LOL

Cheers

Congrats on 1K! You are definitely a member of the solder slingers guild. I like the new image of the monkey soldering.
