Someone installed a desk-drawer key/lock in this Fender M-80 Bass amp, configured to make or break the connection to mains neutral. Wow.

Not isolated from the chassis, no. The screw heads show arcing and oxidation where they made contact. IDK if it "worked"...I never turned it on before I fixed it.
