People refuse to accept that when you bring something in for repair, you're not so much paying for the repair itself as you are paying for my time. Sure, part of it buys the required parts and materials, but the labor pays for my time and experience. The repair is just what you get out of it.
While I do warrant my work for 30 days, in the case of amplifier modifications, I only warrant those for materials and workmanship. I can make no guarantees as to whether or not you will actually like the mod. If you want it tweaked or reversed, you will have to pay me additional time to make those changes.
sorry man .............but grow a pair (hand on shoulder as Im saying this)
You know better than to let it leave without being paid.
Anyone wanting to leave without paying is a dirt bag anyway, so be straight up with them,
if they go complaining everyone else knows theyre trash already.
Im putting myself in client shoes and I would NEVER expect to leave without paying...its like driving away in your car with a new engine transplant and not paying the mechanic.
just say this;
"Itll be here when you have the cash" after 90 days its sold. thanks have nice day
Since it was OK for him to 'forget to mention' that he didn't have the money to pay...you could take the amp back in. Then tell him you 'forgot to mention' that the amp will not be released until you are paid in full.
And at least get his tag number.
Early brewers were primarily women, mostly because it was deemed a woman's job. Mesopotamian men, of some 3,800 years ago, were obviously complete assclowns and had yet to realize the pleasure of brewing beer.
