I'm getting "this site uses no cookies" again at MEF for the past couple of days.
Anybody got insight?
I was just getting at home with it again.

Same. No cookies is fine. No web site is sad.

Thanks for posting about it, I thought it might have just been me / my iphone.
The SS guitar forum was the usual / previous place MEF site issues were posted, nothing there as of earlier.

Re: MEF down again!
I'm really glad to see that the old site database has been restored.
I'm an old Ampage guy, and I was registered as the 7th member of the old MEF site. My email address has changed several times since then, so I'm trapped in a password recovery loop that gets me nowhere -- for some reason my account seems to be in limbo -- my password doesn't work, and because of the email change, automated password recovery doesn't work. I've used the "Contact US" link on the site asking for help from the Admin, but haven't gotten a response. Any recommendations?

All of my old posts are still there. My account / user profile is still there. But when I try to log onto the site I get an error message that says that there is no password associated with my account. I'm guessing that the passwords file didn't carry over when the old board's message database got restored.
So far I haven't had any success in contacting the admin using vBulletin's "Contact Us" feature that is supposed to forward a PM to him. I guess this could be due to a vBulletin configuration problem, but I'm getting nowhere. There seems to be no other way to contact the admin other than vBulletin's "Contact Us" button that does not work.
Does anybody here know of a way to contact the admin? I'm hoping that somebody can PM me with an email.

Your MEF sign in issue has been passed on to the administrators by user g1.
I did a search of the complete MEF member database which includes all known existing and past users and there was no "Solderhead" found. There were a handfull of other user names beginning with Solder***** . They ranged in registration dates between 2011 and 2014 and all had very little posting activity.
Your choice may be down to just re-registering as a new member.

Just wondering, what's your username there?
